“Values, beliefs, teamwork, independent thinking … these are all examples of the skills a computer does not have” - David Richards, co-founder, DJRFF
The course is free to schools and provides teachers with a full year’s worth of lesson materials, broken down into six modules; these can be taught in any order, or as standalone units as preferred. Pupils will explore engaging topics including machine learning and artificial intelligence, practical data science skills, STEM careers and many more. Lesson packs include lesson plans, slides, worksheets, homework activities and assessments. Examples of our “Get Creative with Data” resources can be found on our Resources page.
A balanced syllabus that gives equal importance to:
- Core computing skills, as measured against the National Curriculum
- Essential “soft” skills, as measured against the Skills Builder Framework
- Workplace readiness, as measured against the Gatsby benchmarks
