David and Jane Richards are the husband and wife founders of

After meeting in south-west England more than 25 years ago, the Richards have shared the rich life experiences of entrepreneurship, marriage and parenthood.

David is the co-founder, chief executive and chairman of WANdisco plc. He also sits on a number of advisory and executive boards of Silicon Valley start-up ventures.

David is a passionate advocate of entrepreneurship and has established and exited a number of successful technology companies.

He attended Tapton secondary school in Sheffield and the University of Huddersfield.

Jane attended the University of Plymouth and is a supporter of the Homeless Prenatal Programme, a San Francisco-based charity that aims to break the cycle of childhood poverty.
