Laptops for Kids features in an article in Wired, where David Richards explains how businesses in Sheffield are donating their old tech for use by school pupils. Though some devices may be too old for use by companies, they are perfect for school children. This is a scalable model and already being rolled out in other areas of the UK. Lowfield Primary in Sheffield receives a delivery of laptops to be distributed to pupils who, until now, have been unable to access remote learning.
